When I was in elementary school, we were divided into boys and girls and talked about "menstruation".

Since then, I have had the impression that "menstruation" is something special for girls only.

I was diagnosed with dysmenorrhea when I was 20 years old and started taking the pill.

One night, I was hit with a more severe abdominal pain than usual. I had difficulty breathing and numbness in my hands and feet. When I went to the hospital, I was told that I had endometriosis, that it was larger than usual, and that I needed surgery. At that moment, I realized that "menstruation" may be something that girls have, but there are things that even girls themselves don't know. If that's the case, then of course people who don't experience menstruation, which exists on this earth in the same way, should know even less.

I don't want to create a future where "menstruation" is spoken of in quotation marks. I want to create a bright future where we can reach out to girls who suffer from heavy and painful menstruation and talk about the mysterious body called menstruation.
